Oracle DBA / Warehouse Builder

Position: Oracle DBA / Warehouse Builder
Duration: 3 months beginning June 18, 2012
This Oracle DBA role will be leading efforts in the migration of our client’s Financial Data warehouse environment, including Oracle Warehouse Builder from Solaris to Linux and Oracle 10g to Oracle 11g.
Specific tasks include:
· Performance measurement and tuning
· Upgrades, migrations and platform conversions from Solaris to Linux.
· Act as database lead for the 2012 financial data warehouse project which includes database upgrade and re-host from Solaris to Linux and upgrade, re-host and support for Oracle’s Warehouse Builder product.
Required
· Five or more years experience in Oracle database administration, including experience in a warehouse environment.
· Experience with installation, support and performance tuning of Oracle’s Warehouse Builder product.
· PL/SQL experience
. Database performance analysis and tuning
. Ability to provide results, working independently with limited direction of others.
. Strong business, customer support, and interpersonal communication skills
