Our client, a local company in Rochester, NY is looking for a Oracle DBA for a contract position.

To be qualified for this position, candidates must have 3-5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA. Candidate must have experience maintaining and migrating database objects through environments.

On a day to day basis they will be responsible for Database Performance Evaluation and Tuning, Using various performance monitoring tools, communicating issues to appropriate support groups, monitor and manage the growth of data files and space usage, identify and communicate the extent of database damage, and provides problem recognition and resolution to appropriate internal/external customer.  

Candidates must work on a W2 basis, no corp-to-corp or 1099 arrangements will be considered for this opportunity. Visa sponsorship not available for this position.
