Position Title: WEB/DATABASE APPLICATIONS PROGRAMMER
One full-time position, 12 months/yr.
Civil Service Title: Programmer Analyst I (Competitive)
Salary/Pay Scale: According to Board Approved range
Requirements:
Four-year degree in computer related field and three years related experience
OR
two-year degree in computer related field and four years related experience.
Ability to:
1. Quickly understand complex relational databases and run queries as well as create custom reports [SQL Server Reporting Services].
2. Document a business process into a Software Requirement Specifications document. Then be able to find solutions for that process whether it be using existing 3rd party information systems or through a custom built web based application.
3. Analyze and solve complex problems, excellent presentation and written communication skills; and the ability to communicate and interact with people from diverse backgrounds and to maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
4. Create and maintain user training manuals. Ability to train groups of users along with customer service skills to quickly troubleshoot a user issue.
5. Perform other duties appropriate to the position as assigned.

Develop, support and maintain multiple custom built web based [C3 - .Net 3.5] business applications with MS SQL relational database back ends.
Languages: C#, .Net 3.5 or higher, LINQ, HTML, MS SQL, CSS, JavaScript, SSRS(Some VB)
Applications: Microsoft Office Suite, Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio, Microsoft Business Intelligence Studio (SQL Reporting Services)
