Bloom filtering

Post by bgrenn »

In looking at the exadata, I keep hearing the words "Bloom Filter", and I finally tracked down a good explaination.  Keep in mind Bloom filters are not exadata specific, but the Exadata takes advantage of them.  check this out from Christian Antognini (a member of the oaktable).
